Water is the primary source of life and is the lifeline and nerve. It is known that Iraq is Mesopotamia and the land of good things. Throughout history, Iraq was and still is a country of blackness and its good things were distributed among the neighboring countries in their diversity. This is thanks to God first and thanks to the presence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which made this country To be the subject of the ambitions and competition of others for his wealth from ancient times to the present day. Recently, a clear water scarcity crisis has emerged in Iraq, and it has clearly affected many of Iraq's agricultural areas, exposing them to drought and desertification, and it has had a negative impact on the reality of economic life in Iraq. This research is an attempt to shed light on the negative effects left by the water scarcity crisis, with a focus on the most important reasons behind the emergence of this phenomenon.
